Mrs. Ellender is married to Kerry Ellender and they have four children; Bradley James, Lauri Bess, Emily Brooke and Katie Blaire. She is a graduate from Sulphur High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Guidance and received a Minor in Biology and Math at McNeese State University. She has been employed with Coldwell Banker Legacy since 2004. Prior to 2004 she was co-owner of Gallerie Brokers, Inc. in Sulphur. Mrs. Ellender has been a member of the Southwest Association of Realtors since 1990 where she has served on the Board of Directors, MLS Committee, Orientation Committee and Grievance Committee. She has also served on various committees for the City of Sulphur, such as the Land Use Committee, Team City, Beautification, Industrial Development Board, Brimstone Historical Society and is currently serving on the Care Help Board of Directors. She also attends Sulphur's First Baptist Church. Mrs. Ellender is the daughter of Drusilla Isaac Beglis and the late Louis P. "Neg" Beglis.
