The Grove at Heritage Square
About This Location
The Grove at Heritage Square offers a tranquil setting within an urban environment. Set in the midst of a pecan grove that has historical significance for Sulphur, the pedestrian park features fountains, walking paths, sitting and picnic areas, a stage, restrooms and Wi-Fi. There is also Sulphur Regional Library's Little Free Library located in a birdhouse-type structure along the walking path, where members of the community can pick up a book to read. The park acts as a cornerstone for the Heritage Square area that is compromised of the Brimstone Museum, the Henning Cultural Center, and the City Pavilion. Through the combined efforts of the Brimstone Historical Society, the City of Sulphur, and Sulphur Parks & Recreation, the Square provides a beautiful venue for a variety of festivals and community events. The park adds one more level to the unique park experience Sulphur Parks & Recreation is dedicated to providing the community it serves.
