Annual Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination Clinics
Micro-chipping will also be available

March 1, 2017 – Calcasieu pet owners are invited to two low-cost drive-thru rabies clinics hosted by the Office of Animal Services. Calcasieu Parish and Louisiana State Code requires all dogs and cats over three months old be vaccinated and licensed. The clinics help prevent the spread of Rabies Infection and once vaccinated the pet is required to wear a rabies license tag. Cat owners are encouraged to place the tag on a humane breakaway collar.

The vaccination and licensing fee for spay/neutered animals is $8. Unaltered pets have a $10.00 fee.  Pet owners may pay by cash or check. No credit or debit cards will be accepted. Micro-chipping will also be available at the clinics.

Clinic dates, time, and locations are:

  • March 18, 2017                      7am – Noon
West-Cal Arena & Events Center Parking Lot
